In this post, I am going to look a his Commonwealth concept, and I will comment on how this concept fits in with the Commonwealth of Australia, with the Commonwealth of Nations (as the sucessor to the British Empire), and with Aboriginal peoples’ sovereignty. The concept of a “Commonwealth” was originally an idea from an influential political philisopher, Thomas Hobbes. ![]()
